Yesterday was perfect, as you can see from the screens below a lot of money could have been done yesterday if you trade right. However it was a different tactics, this tactic is called the gorilla. The Gorilla tactic is best for games where you estimate that there will be 3 sets. In these kind of game you always lay the leading player I prefer to do it when odds are under 1.2 as you will get value for money the lower the odds go the higher the risk is, but many times the leading player broke in the second set after winning the first set. When the players is stuck back in that position if he breaks back the game is all open.
In all the games I did the same more or less laying during the game, Blake was a big favourite at odds I don’t usually touch (less than 1.4) I started taking position when he lost the first set than I averaged when odds went down to 1.15 on Calleri by laying him and than I only risk 15 cent for the dollar. In my view Gorilla tactics is good for 3 sets but the risk is high as you take a position at a very fragile moment in the game. As I took at 1.17 laying on Calleri and I felt my exposure was enough and I didn’t lay more at 1.01 which was hit for several seconds (although a good friend of mine told me before the games to do so today, but when he was at that stage he was mad at me why did I recommend to back Blake I replied the game is not over he just wants to give better odds). Than he managed to break back and take the set which shot the odds to approx 1.75 on Calleri and Blake did the work all the way. I recommend to always having each way bringing and not just risk free, as Blake could have lost it as well in the 3 set.
The same tactics was applied to all games as you can see one game I lost but the risk and reward at the end of the day was worth it.
Best wishes,
