Where to trade and Terminology

I think now is the time for a bit of explanation, we are using Betfair to trade in Sport we are trying to be more of traders than gamblers we are doing so by Laying and Backing.

We are always trying to maximise the profit by either backing or laying and than closing the position. Basically there is no difference between whether you first back or lay, its better to take the lower odds and lay it like this your risk is lower.

If you are new user please use my refer and earn in the right hand side. It’s important to my motivation to keep on writing in the Blog.

Laying state that you are saying; what ever you are laying will not happen. All other option may happen, in tennis there are only 2 options therefore it’s the same as backing the other player.

Backing state that you are saying; what ever you are backing will happen.

Risk free when you have back or layed a player or a bet and later on you exist by doing the opposite bet (if you layed at the start you back after and the other way around). For example you start a game by backing at 2.68 *100 and while the game is played odds vary than the same player is in a better position and is traded at 1.65 and you want to close you risk than you lay at 1.65 an amount of 100. Than you will have a profit on your player 103 risk free which mean you either win the 103 or lose 0.

Each way- Similar to Risk free option but when you exist you use a higher stake than you will have profit on both players this is the optimal solution for traders.
