Michelle Larcher de Brito won her first
round match against Gisela Dulko at Stanford.

The 15-year old Larcher de Brito came into
the tournament ranked #226 in the world
and had to qualify.

Larcher de Brito is playing her fifth
career WTA main draw, and her first since
she played Estoril in April. This was
Michelle’s fourth win in four consecutive
days without dropping a set.

She will tonight get a chance to face the #5
ranked player in the world in Serena Williams
on the stadium court.
